Ibn Al-Hytham hospital has a special department for endocrine diseases, especially type one and type two diabetes, additionally a team of dietitians follow up diabetic inpatients -both from children and adults-, they do meal planning for them taking into account doses of insulin, and the patients are provided with proper nutritional education upon discharge.
