Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital Welcomes a Delegation from the Canadian Menopause Society

Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital, represented by Dr. Hussein Mayas – Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Surgery – welcomed a delegation from the Canadian Menopause Society. During the visit, an extensive discussion was held with Dr. Mayas about menopause among Jordanian women, which included interviews with several patients in this age group. The discussions highlighted the most common symptoms and the modern treatment methods adopted at the hospital.

The delegation also toured the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, where they reviewed the rooms and facilities. They praised Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital’s efforts in developing the department and equipping it with the latest technologies in line with modern medical standards.

This visit comes as part of strengthening cooperation between Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital and Canadian women’s associations, contributing to the exchange of expertise and supporting the healthcare services provided to women.
