Emergency Department

Emergency department works round the clock, it receives over five thousand patients monthly, including Jordanian citizens and foreign visitors, it is outstanding in encompassing consultant and qualified doctors in all specialties as follows:

- Specialists or qualified doctors in the field of internal medicine.

- Specialists or qualified doctors in the field of general surgery.

- Specialists or qualified doctors in the field of pediatrics.

- Specialists or qualified doctors in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

- Qualified ophthalmologists

- Qualified general surgeons.

-Qualified neurosurgeons.

- A Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) team which consists of an intensive care physician, an anesthesiologist, a respiratory technician, and an anesthesia technician who are available round the clock, and are highly responsiveness.

The department also includes the following units:

- A classification room where patients are assessed immediately upon their arrival to determine the severity of their condition and to initiate the necessary immediate care.

- A casting and fracture management room equipped with the latest devices needed for casting.

- Minor operation rooms equipped with the latest surgical equipment and instruments.

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) room which is equipped with all the necessary equipment for heart and lung resuscitation.

- Pediatric Emergency room, special to provide emergency care for children.

In addition, the hospital has fully equipped ambulances with the latest emergency medical equipment, including suction devices, defibrillators for cardiac emergencies, oxygen cylinders, and ventilators. These ambulances are prepared to handle various conditions and special cases, ensuring the provision of prompt and effective emergency care during transportation to the hospital.
