• A modern (MRI) device; Philips 1.5 Tesla, which is distinguished by its wide diameter, it also has a screen that is used to display videos to entertain the patient during the imaging, and it is distinct in having the (silent imaging) feature, which makes the procedure less disturbing to the patient. It’s used to:

- Make early diagnosis of stroke within the first few hours of its occurrence, which helps in treating it before it leads to a brain damage.

- Imaging cerebral arteries and veins, as well as those in other parts of the body.

- Imaging bile ducts and various abdominal parts.

- Imaging liver and detecting small liver masses, even the small ones.

-Non-invasive imaging of arteries including; cerebral arteries, neck arteries, pulmonary arteries, abdominal arteries, renal arteries, and peripheral arteries. It can also be used to make early diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.

- Three-dimensional imaging, and to perform CT scan guided biopsies.

• X-ray device: it’s used to do simple imaging.

• Ultrasound imaging devices: these devices are widely used for imaging various parts of the body, they do not emit radiations like other devices, which makes their use safe for pregnant women. They are used to:

- Imaging gallbladder to detect gallstones.

-Imaging liver, kidneys, and various abdominal organs.

-Imaging arteries and veins and make early diagnosis of venous thrombosis and atherosclerosis.

-Imaging thyroid and salivary glands in the neck.
