A large Mass in the Right Prefrontal Cortex

A patient in his forties was suffering from seizures and recurrent loss of consciousness, and thus he did a brain (MRI), which revealed the presence of a large tumor in the right prefrontal cortex.

He went under a surgical tumor resection which was carried out using a surgical microscope, and a brain navigation device which is used to locate and excise brain tumors precisely and without causing damage to adjacent motor and sensory centers. The tumor was completely removed, and the operation was performed by dr. Maher Aliyan, a consultant in neurosurgery, along with his medical team, including dr. Abdulrahman Hajazi and dr. Balqees Al-Omri, under the supervision of the anesthesia consultant dr. Abbas Al-Taweel and the operation team in Ibn Al-Haytham hospital.

It's worth mentioning that the patient was discharged in a good health on the third day after the surgery, with no significant complications, thank God.
